Pop-A-Latte Cards

Hope you will join me for my first ever POP-UP card class on Thursday, September 16th (6 to 8:30PM) or Friday, September 17th (10:30 to 1PM). For all you girls who asked me to do an evening class....this one is for you! Students for Friday morning classes...I'm always happy to see you too! In "Pop-A-Latte Cards" we will make fall themed (including some Halloween) cards all with a pop-up attribute! Here is a little teaser that I put together to advertise this class. Green Fa La La La Latte Kits

Sold Out! Sorry! Don't say I didn't warn you to contact me to set one aside for you! I am in the process of putting together some red kits. I'll post here on my blog when they are ready! The red kits will be very similar to the cards in the green kits, with just a few minor changes.

Thanks to all who attended my Fa La La La Latte class on Friday 7/16! You girls were great and so many of you completed all 12 cards in the alloted time! You Rock! See... I knew it could be done! I also want to thank you for letting me take your cute photos to share here on my blog, the Scrapbooks, Etc Blog and the Scrapbooks-Etc Face Book Page! I really appreciate that and I'm sure that everyone is enjoying watching the slide show starring you!

I loved having each and everyone of you in class and if you need more Christmas Cards...come see me for my next Fa La La La Latte class in November. I will have something completely different for you!

I'm having a nice vacation this week. Had a wonderful weekend getaway at the Scrap Sista's retreat at the Wild Horse Pass Resort in Chandler. I headed there shortly after class for some girl time! I am spending this week at home...catching up on things around the house and enjoying some family time.

With a little help...

...from my family! I had to put together an assembly line to pack up all these die cuts! I have never been so busy putting kits together as I have with this class and had to call in reserves! Unexpected (but always welcomed) Bazzill design team assignments and the task of coordinating 23 Creative Escape swaps consisting of 326 items threw me off schedule. Just a few hours until class time and I'm up bright and early to print the directions!

I just need to make it through class and then I am officially on vacation! A much needed vacation I may add. Tonight I will be at the Wild Horse Pass Resort in Chandler attending the Scrap Sistaz Retreat with my girlfriends. Okay, maybe it's a STAYcation - but I'm good with that!

Meanwhile, here is another one of the cards we will be making!

Supply List

Over the next few days sudents for Fa La La La Latte will be recieving a supply list. Just in case you can't wait to pack your bag, here is what you will need:

Basic Tools (don't forget your paper trimmer)

Various adhesives (tape runner, glue dots, pop dots, liquid adhesive)

Foam Applicator with extra foam

Splat Mat

*Baby Wipes

Distress Inks in Tea Dye and Pine Needles

Platinum Stickles

All items will be available for purchase on Class Day (7/16) - Except baby wipes.

a friend of mine picked up a copy of the Aussie Magazine that has my Scrapper's Dictionary Project featured. She picked it up her copy at the Barnes and Noble in the Chandler Fashion Center.

The magazine is called "Scrapbook Creations" and it's number 75 (Vol. 8 No. 12).

Fa La La La Latte

My next class is scheduled for Friday, July 16th. Let's have Christmas in July...or as I have named it, "Fa La La La Latte." We will make 12 Christmas Cards from one sheet of patterned paper! The color scheme is traditional with deep reds and rich greens. There will be reindeers and much, much more. I created these little class teaser cards to list the class name and date. Almost...

...done with my June Master Mini Books Project! Woke up this morning and decided the cover needed a banner (I know, how cute). I'm posting a sneak peak at the inside! This book has lots to offer...Of course there are the adorable BBQ die cuts, 3 acrylic pages + 6 chipboard pages, pom poms, flowers, buttons, rickrack and ribbon and we will finish up our BBQ project with a strawberry pie (a paper pie that is). A few sassy sayings will be added to spice up this project! Completed project goes on display Friday at Scrapbooks, Etc.!
