Who knew???

My mind kept going back to a conversation I had with Stephanie in class on Thursday night. Stephanie mentioned an acquaintance she has who not only dresses her dog...but her dog has a "wig wardrobe." Well, I was up before the "sun" today and thought I'd just google "dog wigs." WOW! Who Knew????

Just in case you were wondering...I personally have no intention of purchasing wigs for my baby dogs...but in the future, should "canine patterned baldness and bad comb over attempts happen" I may change my plans!

24 Pages for TAMMY!

I have been working (or maybe NOT working) on this project for Tammy for quite some time! Tammy should get some kind of award for being BEYOND patient and understanding as I have pushed this project back time and time again to meet other pressing deadlines. Yesterday I dedicated 12 solid hours to completing some of Tammy's NY layouts. Tammy I hope you are pleased with how this project is coming along! xoxo

Teacher's gifts....

How lucky to get paid to do what I LOVE, meet AWESOME people who LOVE to do what I LOVE to do and then to receive a thoughtful, beautiful gift on top of all that! Wonderful student Cindy gave me this SWEET Pink Blinged out pen after class on Thursday night. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!! I LOVE IT!!!

This pen is so extravagant, I wonder if Paris Hilton has a pen this rich! If I only had cute little dogs to carry around like an heiress would.... oh wait, I do. And for the record, I was doing it before it was cool! Hee hee

Stars...

I saw Stars today... in my Scrap-a-Latte class. Star students, star helpers, and one very special SUPER STAR INTERN. This class was so fun and even though some of you have a few embellishments to attach to your mini book pages.... we managed to get each project punched and bound with no casualties!

A special thanks to Crop (my right hand), Intern Lia and wonderful friend, Heidi... for helping with clean up. And Cindy S. I appreciate you moving chairs for me when it's time to vacuum. You guys are the best!!!!

Brownies

If all of the eight desserts listed below were sitting in front
of you, which would you choose (sorry, you can only pick one)!

Pick your Dessert, and then look to see what psychiatrists think about you.

REMEMBER - No Cheating. Make your choice before you check the meaning.

Here are your choices:
1. Angel Food Cake
2. Brownies
3. Lemon Meringue Pie
4.. Vanilla Cake With Chocolate Icing
5. Stra wberry Short Cake
6. Chocolate Cake With Chocolate Icing
7. Ice Cream
8. Carrot Cake

No, you can't change your mind once you scroll down, so think carefully about what your choice will be.

OK - Now that you've made your choice, this is what the researchers say about you....

1. ANGEL FOOD CAKE -- Sweet, loving, cuddly.. You love all warm and fuzzy items. A little nutty at times. Sometimes you need an ice cream cone at the end of the day. Others perceive you as being childlike and immature at times.

2. BROWNIES -- You are adventurous, love new ideas, and are a champion of underdogs and a slayer of dragons. When tempers flare up you whip out your saber. You are always the oddball with a unique sense of humor and direction. You tend to be very loyal.
3. LEMON MERINGUE -- Smooth, sexy, & articulate with your hands, you are an excellent caregiver and a good teacher. But don't try to walk and chew gum at the same time. 0AA bit of a diva at times, you set your own style because you do your own thing. You shine when it comes to helping others and have many friends.
4. VANILLA CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE ICING -- Fun-loving, sassy, humorous, not very grounded in life; very indecisive and lacking motivation. Everyone enjoys being around you, but you are a practical joker. Others should be cautious in making you mad. However, you are a friend for life.
5. STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE -- Romantic, warm, loving. You care about other people, can be counted on in a pinch and expect the same in return. Intuitively keen. You can be very emotional at times but a true person in every way. You like to do things for yourself and help others learn about themselves.
6. CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE ICING -- Sexy; always ready to give and receive. Very creative, adventurous, ambitious, and passionate. You can appear to have a cold exterior are warm on the inside. Not afraid to take chances. Will not settle for anything average in life. Love to laugh.
7. ICE CREAM -- You like sports, whether it be baseball, football, basketball, or soccer. If you could, you would like to participate, but you enjoy watching sports. You don't like to give up the remote control. You tend to be self-centered and high maintenance.
8. CARROT CAKE -- You are a very fun loving person, who likes to laugh. You are fun to be with. People like to hang out with you. You are a very warm hearted person and a little quirky at times. You have many loyal friends. You were meant to lead and teach others. A wonderful role model.

Leave me a comment to let me know what the psychiatrists think about you!

New Tab and New Classes Scheduled...

There is a new tab on my Master Scrapbook Designs Website with information on the upcoming Scrap Sistaz Retreat. I went to their retreat last year and had a blast and know that if you sign-up you will too! Jolie and Karen are the best!!!

I have also scheduled my classes with Scrapbooks, Etc. through August and have posted the dates and themes. I'll let you know when Scrapbooks, Etc. is ready for class sign-ups!

Sad today....

I'm sad today because my little brother, Don, and his partner Tom, have decided to move to Connecticut. The downturn in the economy has hit Arizona hard so they decided to make a fresh start and left Phoenix this morning. I know he is still just a phone call away... but I am still sad to know he will be so far away. I think that we just take for granted when our family is near by. He's the only family I really have and I love him dearly.

Thirteen (one day to go)

This girl. This is a recent layout that I did for my cutter mentor, Sandy McCauley (http://www.iloveknk.com/). Sandy is nothing short of absolutely amazing!!! Sandy is in New Mexico today taping a PBS show featuring the KNK. I was thrilled when Sandy asked me to put a few things together to show what the KNK can do! I consider myself her "go to designer." I designed and cut the scallop border, circles, this girl title and all the flowers on my KNK.
Pretty model is Hailey, photo courtesy Petrini Photography.
