Two years ago...

About 2 years ago I taught this "Sarcastic Friendship Book" class at an LSS and for a private crop group. This class was very popular and I thought it was time to bring it back in a 2009 version. Check out my current class project for Scrapbooks, Etc. on http://www.masterscrapbookdesigns.com/. Here is the "Original Version." Enjoy!!!

Client Work...

I only do work for one client these days... and that's Tammy. You see, Tammy and I have an "arrangement." She does my hair and I do her scrapbooks. We both have complete creative control over what we each do in this "arrangement!" This takes a lot of trust and has been serving us both well for a few years now. Although it's been a while since I created these... here is Tammy's wedding book and her honeymoon album. Tammy loves when I share her photos. Thanks for being so awesome Tammy!

What If...

What if I didn't have to stop? What if I could just go on creating? What if I didn't have to worry about budgets, time constraints, and/or writing directions? If I didn't have to take all these things into consideration... my projects would know no bounds. They'd be more like this: TO Xmas

Iron Man Book 1

I don't have time to do scrapbooks for others anymore... but when my dear friend Lisa, asked me about doing a book to celebrate her cousin Elizabeth's completion of the Iron Man Marathon I just had to do it. Lisa needed one mini book for Elizabeth and a second for Elizabeth's parents. Here is part what I delivered. Elizabeth said it was the nicest gift she ever received. This warmed my heart. I don't personally know Elizabeth...but I always seem to feel a "connection" with people when I work with their cherished photos.

My Pirate Name

My pirate name is:
Morty Rackham
You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate. Arr!

Jump Start!

Trying to get a jump start on 2009 -- my goals for 2009...(1) to always have an upcoming project on display at Scrapbooks, Etc. (greatest Scrapbook Store ever), (2) to do my best to have my kits ready prior to classes to better accommodate students who are unable to attend and (3) to take time every day to appreciate all the amazing people who help me run my business and prepare kits: Crop (President of MSD), Nancy (Super Cutter), Pat (V.P. of Assembly at MSD), Sandy M. (Head of Tech Department) and Chad (Delivery) ...what would I do with you guys???? - hope I never have to find out. Last but not least, (4) to be grateful for all my wonderful students and kit customers. Thank you for supporting my efforts - my greatest joy in doing this is seeing how much you love the class projects you create.
