Nugget Box Frenzy

I have been busy working on Nugget Boxes for students in my Scrap-a-Latte 2010 Calendar Class today. Each box has been hand cut, hand scored and hand assembled. Just for the record...my hand hurts! I want to give each student a little gift as 2009 comes to a close and let them know how very much I appreciate each and every one of them. Paper is by My Mind's Eye and Tulle is from Bazzill.

Just4funcrafts.com

Yesterday I was scrambling to get some unique products for upcoming classes that are not generally available in quantities I need at scrapbooking stores. So, I called upon Jenn over at Just4FunCrafts for yet another order! I just can't say enough wonderful things about Jenn and the amazing customer service I have received from her over the past few years. Sometimes when I'm in a "creating frenzy," I just don't think about the big picture (like where am I going to get 50 red safety pens, 25 purple spiral fasteners and 8 yards of Robin Egg Blue Waxed Linen).

Jenn, the owner and operator of Just4FunCrafts has gone above and beyond to serve and accommodate me time and time again. I just wanted to take a few moments to share a great on-line store with you and Thank Jenn for taking such good care of me over the past few years. Please visit her blog (she is a true artist): http://just4funcrafts.blogspot.com/ and her on-line store: Just4FunCrafts. While you are there - place an order and tell her Susan from MSD (Master Scrapbook Designs) sent you! You'll be happy that you did!

How'd I lose a week?

I can't believe it's been a week since I've had a blog entry! Where did last week go? I worked at Scrapbooks, Etc. for a few days, had a amazing and wonderful class on Friday (thanks ladies), and then attended Scrapfest on Saturday. The first 7 days of November have flown by!

Meanwhile, I have scheduled my classes for the first four months of 2010 - started working on some Bazzill design team assignments for CHA, and created 5 new layouts for Heidi's group. Guess I just answered my own question. Have a great week and I will get back on the "blog ball."

My very first Halloween Class Project

I think it was apparent early in my designing/teaching career that I was "insane with the little pieces." Book was created from a die cut file folder...lots of Quickutz, Sizzix and a few punch outs. Lots of paint too! Project title..."My Spooky Little BOOk" created in 2003?

Happy Halloween!

From the whole bunch! Enjoy your day!!!
