Reporting from Creative Escape

Today I'm scheduled to be in the Provo Craft Swap Room from 6AM to 1PM. We have just 6 swaps left to hand out! I've had a blast meeting fun ladies at Creative Escape and am looking forward to all the closing festivities this evening. Here are a few photos of the Halloween Decor in the Provo Craft Swap Room. These shapes are actually the same shapes that are available on the new Cricut Halloween Cartridges.

The Swap Room

I will be at Creative Escape at the Wild Horse Pass Resort in Chandler, AZ for the next few days! So excited to meet all the girls that I have been communicating with and coordinating swaps for. This huge task has put me a little behind on everything else...but life will be back to "semi-normal" again for me soon!

If you are here in sunny Arizona, you are welcome to visit the Scrapbooks, Etc. on-site store at Creative Escape. Visit the store's website for more info: Scrapbooks, Etc. If you do come down, visit me in the Provo Craft Swap Room to say "Hello"...you will want to check out our creepy, spooky and cooky lounge! Hope to see you!

So....

Why don't I....Take on what may possibly be the largest swap ever (perhaps I will be in the Genus Book of World Records), design my first ever "POP-UP" card class, VOLUNTEER to teach at the store sampler next month, be invited to UPDATE my class teacher board, host the "Par-Tee of the Summer," AND decide it is time for me to make Christmas quilt during the month of August????

Something must not be "quite right" with me! HA! (anyone else sense a MELTDOWN approaching?) J/K...I am loving every moment of this super busy time!

BTW: Next month I will have both an evening and a day POP-A-LATTE card class! Class dates are Thursday, September 16th 6 to 8:30 PM and Friday, September 17th, 10:30 to 1. We will do 4 Fall and 4 Halloween POP-UP cards! Call the Scrapbooks, Etc to sign-up at 480-854-2303.

Here is my quilt that I have worked so hard on...cutting, pressing, sewing, pressing, sewing, pressing, sewing (you get the gist). All that is left is the batting, quilting (I'll leave this task to the class instructor) and to complete the binding. ***Cute little chihuahua reindeer not included!

Honored and Thrilled

That's how I felt when Bazzill asked me to coordinate multiple swaps (20) for Creative Escape 2010 (600 scrappers). I'm no stranger to this event or to Bazzill. I have been a volunteer at Creative Escape for the past three years and have been on the Bazzill Design team for almost as long. You must be attending Creative Escape to sign-up or gain access to the Swap Room. All this gets even better...Provo Craft is the Swap Room sponsor!

We have been busy planning and plotting for a few months now and still have so much more work to do! Just thought I'd let my readers know what I'm up to! Maybe I will see you at Creative Escape --- It's an AWESOME experience!

Coffee Anyone?

I was showing Liz C. my favorite coffee themed patterned paper at Scrapbooks, Etc. on Friday and told her I would post some projects I did using them. These papers are from Creative Imaginations and these projects were on display at the on-site store during Creative Escape! Enjoy!!!

Bacon and this week!

For the record... Wild Horse Pass has really, really good bacon. You can verify this with Carol Wingert!
I just re-opened the main on-line store for Master Scrapbook Designs (http://www.masterscrapbookdesigns.com/shop/catalog/). All those AWESOME ladies from Creative Escape just about wiped out my entire inventory. Time to get busy!!!
This week I have my Master Mini Books classes! WOW! Both Thursday and Friday classes have SOLD OUT! Thank you so much! I am currently working on the sample for my October class: The Grinch's Christmas Schedule! Sign-up early and reserve your spot. Just call Scrapbooks, Etc. at 480-854-2303! Don't forget...you can take 15% of one class at Scrapbooks, Etc. every month!

Got Zebra?

I had such a great time working at Creative Escape this year. Zebra was everywhere! I saw zebra flowers, zebra tops, zebra tights and even zebra cowboy hats! I met Bubbles the Zebra (above photo) who attended the event and even made an appearance at Scrapbooks, Etc. during the Bazzill Bus Tour! I had the pleasure of working with Sharon as TA's in Carol Wingert's class (pictured above). A good time was had by all!
