August Master Mini Books Class

Next week is my Master Mini Books Class, "Someone." Someone, as in "You are everything to SOMEONE, right now at this very minute." This sweet and charming class is scheduled on Wednesday, August 5th for 10:30 to 1 PM or 6 to 8:30 PM. Please call Scrapbooks, Etc. at 480-854-2303 to sign-up. Don't forget to use your monthly 15% class discount!

You will need to bring a UHU glue stick, brayer, crop-a-dile and foam pop dots in addition to your basic tools and supplies!

New Hair Bows!

My sweet friend, Janaye from Scrapbooks, Etc. has started a new bow making business. I asked Janaye to make me a cute hair bow to wear when I am working at the store and to also make a matching bow for my girl, Maggie Mae! Janyae delivered our order yesterday and as you can see we were very pleased!

Margaritaville

Hey Master Mini Book Students... just in case you don't get your "Margarita" fix in our Margaritaville class this week, I have created this 12 x 12 layout for you! I have designed this banner, Margaritaville title, and parrot for you to recreate this page should you choose. Supplies will be laid out at class for those who would like to purchase them.

That's my cute friend Sharon modeling in this photo! She is bringing the Margaritaville CD for us to enjoy during class! You ROCK Showtunes!

I will be placing class reminder calls today for tomorrow night's class. Here is the supply list:
Basic tools and a variety of adhesives (including foam pop dots) plus an embroidery needle, coordinating project ink pads, crop-a-dile, and stapler. You will add Stickles in color of your choice for margarita AFTER class due to drying time!

Margarita cookies will be served!

Tammy's Honeymoon Album

I have been doing Tammy's albums for a few years now -- the one and only client album I do. She gives me complete creative control over this work and has the patience of a saint. It has arrived....

The amazing Sandy McCauley (www. iloveknk.com) from Accugraphic tech support came yesterday to set up my new KNK MAXX. I'm already in LOVE with MAXX. It features: a Newly-Designed Body, More Force, Laser Alignment, Smoother, Faster, Quieter Operation, Aggressive Grit Rollers for Reduced Skewing, Ability to Hold Larger Pens and Markers, New Extra-Thick Mats, Repeat Function. I am in digital die-cutting heaven!

On that note...I will be listing my other two KNK cutters on Craigs list in the near future. I have an 8" cutter and a 12" cutter that are wonderful machines and priced to move. Next month I have a (non-sarcastic) fun project for us! On Wednesday, August 5th, our Master Mini Books project is "Someone." This Bo Bunny Board Book project features Kaiser Kraft papers, Bazzill flowers, cardstock and brads, ribbons plus heart warming sentiments.

If you visit the Scrapbooks, Etc. tab at Master Scrapbook Designs you will see that I have scheduled my classes through the end of 2009. I have some exciting class ideas, including a Scrapper's Dictionary, Grinch Project, NEW Christmas Card Class and (back by popular demand) 2010 Purse Planner!
