Looking for something to do on Saturday...
Join me at Scrapbooks, Etc. for my Scrap-a-Latte Class. This class is just $24 dollars and you will leave with this complete Valentine's Day Puzzle Project. Class time is 10:30 to 1 PM. You can display it pieced together (as shown) or hanging on a ring (included in your kit). This project is suitable for photos of your special someone, kids or even your pet! Call the store at 480-854-2303 to sign-up. Remember you can take 15% off one class every month and you get 10% off any purchase you make on class day!
Valentine's Day 2008
Here's a little project I did last year for Valentine's day! It featured Paper Salon Papers, which used to be one of my favorite lines. The box was created by scoring a 12 x 12 sheet of patterned papers and I used my Klic-N-Kut to cut the big tags. Click here to view the complete project: Valentine Box 08

What was in the cute little bags???
Since you asked (Susan Kay in Iowa)... this frame project! I had a blast teaching almost 50 students how to make this today. Met some new ladies and caught up with a few familiar faces. A good time was had by all. I did a very similar project that you can view on the Bazzill Blog (posted 1/15). Don't forget to check out my Love Birds card (posted 1/23) while you are there!

Mad Woman????
...or creative genius. J/K - I just don't know how I make such a mess! Do you realize that I own several paper cutters and several pairs of scissors just because I bury them while I'm working? Just finishing up my MMB Class Project for Febuary. Check out the project cover under the Scrapbooks, Etc. tab on my website. This project will be on display at the store on Friday. And remember, since this is "MY" project...don't expect it to really be a cookbook! Hee hee!

Can Cold Water Clean Dishes?
This is for all the germ conscious folks that worry about using cold water to clean.
John went to visit his 90 year old grandfather in a very secluded, rural area of Saskatchewan. After spending a great evening chatting the night away, John 's grandfather prepared breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast.
However, John noticed a film like substance on his plate, and questioned his grandfather asking,
'Are these plates clean?'
His grandfather replied, 'They're as clean as cold water can get em. Just you go ahead and finish your meal, Sonny!'
For lunch the old man made hamburgers. Again, John was concerned about the plates as his appeared to have tiny specks around the edge that looked like dried egg and asked,
'Are you sure these plates are clean?'
Without looking up the old man said,
'I told you before, Sonny, those dishes are as clean as cold water can get them. Now don't you fret, I don't want to hear another word about it!'
Later that afternoon, John was on his way to a nearby town and as he was leaving, his grandfather's dog started to growl, and wouldn't let him pass.
John yelled and said,
'Grandfather, your dog won't let me get to my car'.
Without diverting his attention from the football game he was watching on TV, the old man shouted .
'Coldwater, go lay down now, yah hear me!'
Meet Coldwater............
Have a fabulous STRESS FREE day! Life is too short for negative drama & petty things. So laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly! From one unstable person to another... I hope everyone is happy in your head - we're all doing pretty good in mine!

Seriously...
Sometimes I just crack myself up!
I joined an inchie swap with my good friends from our Thursday Therapy scrap group. If you have never done an "Inchie Swap" -- basically, it's a swap of about 10 different designs on a 1" square. For months I've been watching these talented ladies work with ink, glitter, stamps and everything else creating magnificant works of art. Well, I'm a little short on time... so I set limitations...cardstock and glue. I decided to do a theme...Shark Attack (click on the link --if you're not to scared). Hope no one else did the same thing. Ha ha ha...

Start the car!!!
That's what I should have been yelling when I came out of Costco today. Would you believe that I found this cool basket wire rack for $9.97?! Even the clerk said, "Wow, $9.97" --- and that's what it rang up for. It was the very last one! My mini book baskets have been over flowing and I've downsized as much as possible (really, I have). This rack is great for holding my little books, while keeping them out of reach from bad little dogs. Love it!

A Year Ago January...
A year ago January I held my first Master Mini Books class at Scrapbooks, Etc. Thought it might be nice to revisit this cute project. Before you ask, this class sold out - the kits are all gone and I am unable to recreate the die cuts for you. Sorry!

What a fabulous time I had yesterday at my beautiful friend Polsia's house attending a Close to My Heart Party and Class and then a crop with dear friends. We already knew that Polsia was the "hostess with the mostest."
The adorable projects you see were created by none other than the pretty and talented Georgia Hauglid. Did I mention generous... because she let me do all three! You Rock Georgia! View more of Georgia's lovely artwork on her CTMH website.
