Thanks-a-Latte Preview

I'm so excited for my Sold-Out "Thanks- a-Latte" card class this Friday! There will be flowers. There will be butterflies. There will be shoes. And there will be boots! There are also ribbons, buttons, brads and black rhinestones a plenty! Students will receive an email and/or phone call with a supply list later this week. Thanks-a-Latte...your support of my classes means so very, very much to me! I appreciate each and everyone who signed up for class and/or my class wait list!

Sampler Project

Here's what my group created in the sampler yesterday... This cute little Valentine themed pizza box! There were many familiar faces and some fun newbies too! I had a great time teaching this project to all 45 of you! Some were very disappointed to learn that my 2/19 "Thanks-a-Latte Card Class" is sold out. Those who attended got a sneak peak at my March "Master Mini Books Class!" It's an Easter Project featuring Basic Grey Origins papers and the CUTEST little bunny custom created just for you!

Nugget Box Frenzy

I have been busy working on Nugget Boxes for students in my Scrap-a-Latte 2010 Calendar Class today. Each box has been hand cut, hand scored and hand assembled. Just for the record...my hand hurts! I want to give each student a little gift as 2009 comes to a close and let them know how very much I appreciate each and every one of them. Paper is by My Mind's Eye and Tulle is from Bazzill.

...is my December Scrap-a-Latte Purse Calendar Class! The sample will go on display this Friday but I am posting a sneak peak for you today! This class is a month away and is already two thirds full. Wow...you guys are amazing. I appreciate each and everyone of you and am so flattered - thank you! Let this post serve as your official warning - call Scrapbooks, Etc. at 480-854-2303 to sign-up ASAP! This class is on Saturday, 12/12 from 1 to 3:30 PM.

If you can't make the class please contact me for a kit at info@masterscrapbookdesigns.com. If and only if you take the 2010 calendar class or purchase a 2010 calendar kit, I will be happy to share (via email) my custom created calendar pages (excel spreadsheet). Kits can be shipped or picked up at Scrapbooks, Etc. The first wave of kits will be available next week.

How'd I lose a week?

I can't believe it's been a week since I've had a blog entry! Where did last week go? I worked at Scrapbooks, Etc. for a few days, had a amazing and wonderful class on Friday (thanks ladies), and then attended Scrapfest on Saturday. The first 7 days of November have flown by!

Meanwhile, I have scheduled my classes for the first four months of 2010 - started working on some Bazzill design team assignments for CHA, and created 5 new layouts for Heidi's group. Guess I just answered my own question. Have a great week and I will get back on the "blog ball."

Wow -- Sold out?!!!

Amazing! My samples are not even completed for my New Scrap-a-Latte Card class and I've SOLD OUT! You guys are the best!!! In this class we will create 12 cards from one piece of SEI patterned Christmas paper. I will post the cards once they are completed. In the meantime, here is a version of this class that I did a few years back. If you are one of my regular students and missed enrolling in this class - please contact me at info@masterscrapbookdesigns.com and I will do my best to get you enrolled in class or at the very least - arrange to have a class kit for you. Please bring the following for this class:
Basic tools and adhesives, foam paint brush, brown ink,
crop-a-dile, sandpaper and stapler.
Dress Accordingly -- you may get a little messy!
If you have: please bring 1 3/4" circle punch!
Bring one 4 x6 photo and several wallet sized photos.
Convert these photos to sepia if you like!

A glimpse into Nancy's Day

My devoted die cutter, Nancy, came over yesterday and assisted in packing kits for my Scrap-a-Latte class yesterday. Here is a glimpse of what she walked into! You know how I go "nuts with the little pieces!" -- I did the KNK cutting for this class and Nancy had 30 kits packed up with-in two hours. Once she finished that...I she worked on kits for Scrap Sistaz. Thanks Nancy!!!

Purse of Quirks!

Join me at Scrapbooks, Etc. next Saturday (6/13) 10:30 to 1PM for my Scrap-a-Latte Class. I'm calling our project "Purse of Quirks." We will create a mini book from a ribbon spool! This purse opens up and six double sided circle pages spill out. Although I utilized this project to list my "quirks" you can use it for any theme!

After completing this class - you will be able to re-create this project in different themes and color schemes. Plus, I am bringing extra ribbon spools to GIVE you - just in case you would like to make more!!!!

Scrap-a-Latte

I spent this weekend preparing for my Scrap-a-Latte Class ($24) on Saturday 3/21 from 10:30 to 1. We are making an envelope book and will and bind it with the Zutter Bind-it-all. This project's theme is My Scrapbook Space, My Happy Place. This project features colorful Prima papers, Bazzill envelopes, brads, chipboard, borders flowers, buttons, ribbon and tulle. Everything has been packaged by page to make easily assembly for students. Hope you can join us... if not sign up anyway and a kit will be reserved for you. Call the store to enroll: 480-854-2303.

Looking for something to do on Saturday...
