Shabby Masters...

Jenny and I would personally THANK all who attended Shabby Masters yesterday. You girls were great! No one finished their album in class...but we didn't expect them too! Hee hee! The feedback we received in class was very good...you cute gals really loved that technique based project! And Earleen, thank you, thank you, thank you for one of the greatest compliments I have ever received. Wow!

The Bread Basket Bakery (BBB) did a great job delivering our yummy lunches in the cutest little lunch boxes ever! Way to go Sunshine (manager of the BBB) - you ROCK!

It was such a great experience designing and working with my dear friend, Jenny-Pie. As always I was inspired by your talent and just happy to be working with you! Love you girl!!!

Class, wish me luck in dragging Jenny out of her "semi-retirement" again someday for another "Shabby Master" adventure!

Japan...from a few years back

I have been so busy preparing for Shabby Masters that today I thought I'd go back into my Scrapbooking Archives to see what I could find and share. Funny how when I look back at my work from days gone by, I can see all the PHASES my scrapbooking style has gone through. It's always evolving. A smile came across my face when I saw these pages I did for a dear friend at least 5-years ago. This was definitely my cut the pictures phase... (this is also before I had photo editing and stitching software).

Two people contacted me for kits today for Shabby Masters... that means only 3 spots are left! This class is 13 technique filled pages and even includes a wood album ($16) value. The words of this project speak to the costs verses the values of raising a child. It's sure to bring a tear to every mother's eye. New Apron

Here is the new apron that I started to make in the "Stitchin' a Story" class last month at Scrapbooks, Etc. I sewed on the snazzy pockets! But then I passed off the project to my sweet friend Cynthia to finish! Cynthia you did an awesome job and I LOVE my new apron so much more just because it reminds me of you!

Scrapbooking is my LIFE...

TRANSLATION: Sewing is just not my thing. Maybe I'll revisit this craft in the future if classes for making doggie clothes are offered. That could be useful to me.
Seriously...I enjoyed the class, re-learned a few things and had a good time! But, I'm just a Paper Girl!
